BlackBerry PlayBook, Jawaban BlackBerry atas Booming Tablet

Pada BlackBerry DevCon di San Fransisco hari ini, RIM memperkenalkan produk terbaru mereka: BlackBerry PlayBook, yang rencananya akan diluncurkan awal tahun depan.

PlayBook akan menggunakan BlackBerry Tablet OS, yang juga akan diluncurkan pada beberapa minggu ke depan.

PlayBook dilengkapi dengan layar 7 inch (yg terlihat seperti Samsung Galaxy Tab), diperkuat oleh prosesor 1GHz dual-core, 1GB RAM dan kemampuan multitasking dan menjalankan Flash 10.1. PlayBook dipersiapkan sebagai tablet profesional “enterprise-ready” pertama.

Berikut spesifikasi lengkap dari BlackBerry PlayBook:

  • 7″ LCD, 1024 x 600, WSVGA, capacitive touch screen with full multi-touch and gesture support
  • BlackBerry Tablet OS with support for symmetric multiprocessing
